Angelina Jolie had a double mastectomy, in case you hadn’t heard. How dare she remove those ticking time bombs from her chest, amiright? Like, hasn’t she learned by now that her body is public domain and we all get to vote on what she does with it? Sheesh, how selfish can ya get.

Try searching “mazzeru” , “mazzerismu corsica” , “mazzeru corsica”. There’s a documentary with english subtitles on youtube. In corsican culture a mazzeru is a “death-bringer”. In his dreams the mazzeru kills animal symbols (totems ?) of people and those people later die in the real life, usually after an odd number of days. To become mazzeru one has to be badly baptised, meaning that a part of the ceremony was omitted or went wrong. Mazzeri live in village communities but keep to themselves. They can be identified by their amazingly beautiful eyes. Today there are said to be about 30 mazzeri living in the south of Corsica.
